I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Occupational Therapy from Tel-Aviv University, Israel in 2004.
During my studies I came across The CME (Cuevas Medek Therapy) physical therapy for children, in November 2003 I went to take the CME course in New-York, conducted by Ramon Cuevas, the creator
of CME therapy.
When I came back to Israel I started practising the CME therapy privately with children who suffer from a variety of disabilities – Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, hypotonia (low muscle tone)
etc. simultaneously, I started working as an Occupational therapist in a conductive education nursery for special needs children with motor disabilities – “Tsad Kadima”. As an occupational
therapist I focused on sensory integration, improving fine motor skills and developing life skills all according to the child’s needs and abilities.
In December 2005 I went to Chile and spent a month observing Ramon Cuevas and practising CME with children under his guidance and supervision in his head office in Santiago.
In July 2006 I went to Antwerp, Belgium, for one month of first hand observations and training.
In April 2007 I moved to London, where I have a private practice as a CME Therapist, and also working as an Occupational therapist in “Side by Side”, an integrated nursery & school for
children with special needs.
In August 2007 I went to see Ramon again in Antwerp – and from each visit I came back with greater understanding and appreciation of the CME therapy.
